JASPER COUNTY ROAD MAINTENANCE

    PART II

    Even after a year of asking for a road maintenance schedule, questioning repairs or lack thereof and suggesting outsourcing the road maintenance, no improvement seems to have been made.  The roads in Jasper County are in very poor shape.

    after repeated repairs that fall apart within 3 weeks and make the road worse each time:

Big messes made by Public Works on EASY RIDGE, LANE ROAD,  and of

7 ISLAND ROAD with limbs left laying in the ditches to block water.


Typical Dirt Roads in Jasper County

Dirt roads during the rain show lack of proper ditching and maintenance.  Many dirt roads have some gravel, usually in places it is not needed, while the rest of the road is ignored.
